Beaches in Ovacik
One of the most beautiful clean water
pebble and sand beaches close to Ovacik is of Olu - Deniz that
has a famous fresh water lagoon and beach. Olu –Deniz is located
at a distance of 4 kilometers from Ovacik and it will take not
more than 15 to 20 minutes, if you travel from Ovacik to
Olu-Deniz beach by dolmus bus. There are many buses running on
these routes all round the day and you can even hire a taxi from
Ovacik that can be easily availed.

On the route from Ovacik to Olu-Deniz ,you
can even reach the paid beaches that are privately owned
beaches or you can opt for accommodations that provide privately
owned beaches .To visit the best beaches of Turkey you need to
travel to south of Ovacik.
One of the best beaches in the area is
sandy clean water beach of Patara, that was voted to be the best
beach of the world and it is located at a distance of 35 km to
south of Ovacik The second beautiful beach is Katrinci Beach
that is also located in the same route. Facing these beaches you
can locate bars and restaurants where you can get some of the
popular Turkish delights and sea water food.

adventures for the tourists in summer. These beaches are known
for its pale white sands and turquoise water. You can get onto
the boat trips from Olu –Deniz and reach the famous islands
like the Butterfly valley and Dalyan or you can even make it to
the reach the Kaya Koyu there is a vacant “Ghost Village” in a
part of Kaya and only the debris of the village is present on
